To Nate, from Dad A dad's supportive note to his gay son has gone viral. The letter is to a boy named Nate, a Michigan high school student who later shared the letter with a website called fckh8.com, but chose to remain anonymous. Although the note has garnered overwhelmingly positive feedback, the owner of the fckh8 site, Luke Montgomery, told Yahoo! News he was sad that it's still such a rarity to see parents react that way to their children coming out. "What I think that says is, one, it’s rare, and that’s really bad. And two, people are really craving this kind of reaction,” he said.

As a father I could be accepting but at the same time disappointed for my offspring, not disappointed 'in' my offspring...

Disappointed that they will never know the solid foundation of a family or rearing offspring (raising devil spawn in my case) the way it has been done for hundreds of thousands of years.
