No it hasn't. It has been confirmed.
The impact is not confirmed and the action not agreed.
However the fear driven need to implement taxation and carbon trading I think is pre-mature and ill thought through, which is a key point you have been making.
Exactly, so the scare tacticians think that just a different, smaller tax will be needed.
I say, go get fucked.
You have lied. You have spruikers of bullshit.
I don't trust you and you should not get a fucking cent of my hard earned for your dodgy cause.
I think that it should be voluntary, so panic merchants like yourself can give up as much as possible for your guilt about living well while thinking that you are doing your bit while the smart and uncaring people laugh at you.
To make it easy, you only have to sign a single document where you just pay an extra 10% income tax.
Will you sign the document, SN?
No.
Just because the earlier science was wrong and manipulated for political outcomes does not mean we through the baby out with the bath water.
We should support the science and ensure it is robust in challenge and conclusions. Then whatever the action plan is, the whole world needs to be behind it.
I would sign a document that held me and every other member of the human race accountable for their contribution to the problem and pay none if I am not contributing or pay me if I have a positive effect to the problem.... oh shit, that's the carbon tax principle.
The political leadership need a plan. We need the science first and the plan needs updating when the feedback from the planet is analysed and the science improved.

Well, you are already on board so why won't you sign?
What about 5% income tax? Maybe 2% income tax?
What level of income tax would you sign up to considering you think something must be done?

To be honest I would be prepared to sign-up to a level that I deemed to be my fair share on a scientifically proven problem that every else signed up to. If these requisites were provided, I would sign up for the full amount based on a fair allocation to me of the world resource consumption/my usage of this resource allocation.
That is, I am prepared to pay... if it is fair and justified and the pain shared by all, including shared by you.

No, you can get fucked.
You believe in your fairy story. You should be paying straight away.
What level do you think you should pay. You alone.

I am paying now. I pay for the carbon tax on my bills now.
You are paying too from what I hear.
The approach needs to be corrected, on that I agree with you. However there is a cost to mitigation and adaption. If you fail to mitigation, adaption maybe/will be impossible and too costly in the longer run.
if you don't want to pay for mitigation, how much are you prepared to pay for adaption only?

I'll have to build a sea wall for my oceanfront property.
I will do this when I am good and ready.

Science doesn't support the scam of global warming.
Science keeps changing their models and even then they stuff it up as their models don't predict anything or be applied to the past or present!
No wonder no one in their right mind would believe the scam of global warming...unless you are a flat earth believer as well

SN doesnt seem to understand that tax do not get repealed, ever.
If AGW proves to be a scam which looks more likely every year, do you think they will remove the carbon tax? Do you think that they will shut down a carbon trade?
This whole scam has been designed to add another empty piece to the pie while taking bits from the the full pieces.
It's a fucking scam and you should be ashamed that you have been hoodwinked.

SN doesn't seem to accept that temperature has been in decline since 2005, or that the pause even exists.
Or that some scientists are now saying their may be an even more noticeable decline over the next 10 years.
On the one hand he concedes, then withdraws the concession. It must be hard leaving the church of global warming and becoming an apostate must have harsh penalties.
One step forward 50 steps back....
SN... here's some homework for you.

It's real... get ready.
Extreme Climate Will Hurt Tropics First, Not the Arctic
Stunning new maps pinpoint where and when radical temperatures will prevail; beware 2047
By the year 2047 the mean air temperature around the planet will shift completely out of the range seen in recent history. From that point on, even a cold year will be warmer than any warm year from 1860 to 2005 if nations continue to emit carbon dioxide the way they do now. And the new extreme temperatures—the new normal—will first occur not in the Arctic but in the tropics, where people, plants and wildlife are least equipped to adapt. That disquieting analysis comes from a massive new study led by Camilo Mora at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa, published today in Nature. (Scientific American is part of Nature Publishing Group.)
Great article to read it in full go here:
