What about the 3%.Rorschach wrote:IPCC spin translated – the leaked Synopsis admits 97% of models fail
Are they on the money and over time they become the standard and predictability improves as they are the new bases for the next generation of models and assumptions.
Sciences has a feedback loop that tests, validates, invalidates and improves a model or theory. There are just models and theories plus proofs and evidence.
3% for a chaotic system like this is probably pretty good if you think about it.
However... basing a major economic strategy and impact on these 97% to green the world maybe a step to far.

There you go IQ... a flip from 6 months ago.

However all model show the same long term trend... it is a matter of when and how high.
Oops.. no change in stance on long term.

It was dubbed 'Greenland' to encourage migration to it.

Re: Global Warming
You do understand that one of the IPCC's primary duties is to scientifically assess the effects of AGW? Kind of difficult to do that without a lot of scientists. As luck would have it, the IPCC employ a lot of scientists across multiple disiplines.IQS.RLOW wrote:This is IPCC spin translated, they are not scientists, or did that escape your narrow little world, lefty?Chard wrote:Goddamn I love it when laymen take it upon themselves to "translate" the words of scientists. Etc, etc, etc...The Norse established their settlements along fjords (such as the Tunuliarfik and Aniaaq fjords in the central area of the Eastern settlement). Because this was during the so-called Medieval Warm Period, the vegetation there was very different from what it is today. Excavations have shown that the fjords at that time were surrounded by forests of 4-to 6-metre-tall birch trees and by hills covered with grass and willow brush. The Norse probably cleared the landscape by felling trees to use as building material and fuel, and by allowing their sheep and goats to graze there in both summer and winter. The climate also became increasingly colder in the 14th and 15th centuries, during the period of colder weather known as the Little Ice Age.

Do you know that the UN's primary reason for the IPCC and it's climate agenda is global wealth redistribution?Chard wrote:You do understand that one of the IPCC's primary duties is to scientifically assess the effects of AGW? Used to high temps, air-con has made people here soft. Used to be 42 and above when I was a kid going to school, we didn't even have fans.
Climate is still the same.
How about those Climate Change believers getting trapped in the ice in Antarctic waters eh, whilst looking for warming.
