Not on this planet. If you check the archaeological evidence you will see that the Norse who went to Greenland did so poorly that they wound up eating their hunting dogs, and went as far as to smash the dog bones to extract the marrow.
As for farms, well vegetables don't grow in ice or on rock.
I grow some of my own food on my own land, but I'm not conceited enough to call it a farm.

Toss in wind chill and -15 would indeed be possible.

I note that possible =/= normal. I live near Canberra, and use their weather forecasts as a fairly good guide to what we'll get. And -15C is far from normal, even taking wind chill into account. And I'd bet dollars to doughnuts that the -10C didn't come with a wind chill either, but was a frosty, mid winter night.

Your view is to put your head in the sand and hope the impact is so low that there will be nothing to address.

fact: manmade environmental changes due to us changing the composition of the atmosphere is unprecedented.
fact: if we continue to pump greenhouse gases into it there is no natural process to counter balance our continued emissions.
fact: all models predict a run away greenhouse effect.... the models are not accurate in determining when this will occur
fact: a lack of remediation action on our part will lead to a runaway green house effect on the globe.

Now, just because they can not predicted exactly how, over a short timeframe the effect of this on the world environment does not mean it should be discounted as not being a real issue. If it is 20, 50, 100 or 500 years in the future... no change in human behaviour will be... WILL BE... catastrophic for human kind and the world environment. Ignoring the problem and just saying we can pollute as much as we like and everyone will have to adapt is an approach not recognising the size and impact of this problem.

How we address this problem is the real issue. I agree just taxing for the hell of it and that has not impact on the environment is just crazy. carbon tax credits and the trading of them is just bullshit.

However something needs to be pro-actively done to address this.

The fact that humanity can never get it's shit together because we always have a short term view on things and can never agree and be unified on a major issues until be are about to fall off the cliff is our biggest weakness. Our right to survive as a species into the long term... millions or even billions of years will determined on how we overcome this weakness.

We need to get our shit together.

I note that -10 has been achieved.
I note that wind chill would lower that up to 10 more degrees.
I note you seem to have admitted that there are places Australian after all that have very low temps indeed.
Not living in Canberra I can't say how often it gets into the minus degree realm.
But I know even in Western Sydney it does on occasion.
Perhaps you'd like to ply your pedantry on another topic?
