Maskers - Men Who Like to Dress Up as Dolls

Post by Neferti » Fri Jan 10, 2014 10:19 am

A BEAUTIFUL woman stands in front of her bathroom mirror, tousling her long blonde locks and smoothing a bright yellow dress over her curvaceous figure.

But 40-something Sherry isn't really a woman at all. She's a 70-year-old divorced retiree from California named Robert.

Robert is a "masker", one of a growing number of men who transform themselves into female dolls by squeezing into elaborate, lifelike rubber suits.

Unlike transgender people, maskers do not identify with a different sex. For them, dressing up as women is a way to escape, express the more feminine parts of their personality, or just to have fun.

For them, dressing up as women is a way to escape
Escape?
express the more feminine parts of their personality
Men with a partly sensitive/feminine inner personality are appealing. Dressing them up as women or dolls is a total turnoff.
or just to have fun.
Fun? Must be some sort of kooky mens' club. Eleanor or Maxine might be members.

Men have been dressing up in female clothes forever. Wearing rubber masks is a bit different though. There used to be a show called Les Girls at Kings Cross in Sydney. Men tarted up like female showgirls. No idea whether it is still there. I've no idea why some men cross dress, or want to wear lacy underpants and a bra. I imagine cross dressing is not popular for us girls ... why would I or any other female want to look like a bloke?
