Malaysia's prime minister has announced that missing flight MH370 crashed in the southern Indian Ocean.

Possibly a misspelling by the Inmarsat official considering the quotation marks...

Well it looks as if a NZ helicopter crew sighted something in the new search area. Today will be the crucial one, I think.

As for the old search area, I knew there was a good reason why I avoid sailing the Southern ocean. If it's not weather, it's debris.
