That he manages to find these shallow shallow types and hook up with them just says he's a very lonely bloke with a lot of Viagra, and that's the way the poor bastard will die.

Re: Definition of Tacky!
Years ago he and his first wife, Leanne, started a chain of medical "super clinics" in Sydney. They had grand pianos in the foyer and nurses in short short mini skirts running around the waiting room with trays of pills. Quite tacky but the concept was actually very good back then. Everything under the one roof. Before he opened the clinics he apparently did a lot of rural medical work, often at no charge.
He got struck off the medical register for something. I can't remember what.
He used to be OK looking but now he looks like a desperate old freak.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geoffrey_Edelsten" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;Following the establishment of Australian Medicare, by the Hawke government in February 1984, Edelsten began to run innovative, multi-disciplinary, 24-hour medical centers that were the forerunners of modern corporate medical practices.[6] Decorated with chandeliers, white grand pianos, and mink-covered examination tables, the clinics attracted considerable media attention.[4][6][20] Edelsten's clinics were the first in Australia to bulk-bill patients to Medicare so that they incurred no direct cost.[15][21] Within four months of opening, the first clinic was dealing with 2,000 patients every week. Edelsten eventually owned thirteen medical centres, in which approximately 20,000 patients consulted 200 doctors every week.
Mink covered examination tables?

He did have some great concepts though.

Yes, he ripped the taxpayer off and took advantage of the crappy implementation of a labor program.
