I find the tribalism of Labor voters really really funny.

Both parties will ensure its business as usual but Labor throws a few extra kitchen scraps for the lowest of the low and package it as being a big deal and the poor sods fall for the soft cooing noises the politicians of their team make.

I find it disturbing. It means that too many people just cannot think for themselves and it is a worry that they are legally allowed to even vote.

Not the only thing, buying votes is not only a Labor rort... ignorance is a large problem and since the largely Conservative Australian Population has allowed the Socialists to march through our institutions they have now indoctrinated and brainwashed a generation of voters... getting balance back is going to be next to impossible now.

Well worth a repost...

"My DAD voted Labor, his Dad voted Labor our whole family votes Labor....." typical response when asked why they vote Labor...

For a small population Australia has a complicated political landscape . Most Aussies are not that sophisticated , so why create a systems that is so complex ?

Agreed, rather than ballot forms, I reckon they should provide food stands.

Battered savs- liberal
sausages on bread - labor
Chai lattes -Greens

Let the knuckle grazers at the polls decide.

Would probably reflect a more accurate election result.

Only problem is when you get people like Malcolm Turnbull lining up for all three.

Gets a little complex then.

Sophistication has nothing to do with numbers . If that was the case Australia would only be moderatly more sophisticated than Zimbabwe, lol
