I realise that this "event" is over for another year but wonder why Australia is even in it. When did we enter Europe? Will the Americans be in this European Event next year? I presume that it has something to do with our SBS TV channel and the multicultural following .... or something.
I have never watched Eurovision but I have known people who were born in Europe who never miss it.
It seems that "our" entrant, one Jessica Mauboy, has received some publicity and not necessarily the good variety.
I've never heard of her but what's new about that? Apparently, she thinks she is Australia's answer to Beyonce ... whoever that is.

I've never watched Eurovision either and have now just finished watching the Mauboy clip.......REALLY awful performance of a REALLY awful song.

If she hadn't self advertised as the next Beyonce I wouldn't even have watched the song, but I did, and regret it. Surely we have better? We shouldn't be in Eurovision to begin with.

I never watch it as it doesn't interest me but I remember when the 'lady' with the beard won because it was in the headlines for days.
At least it is diverse lol

I watched about 5 minutes the other day. Total rubbish.
