https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-04- ... edral-fire
As the article states..
"In the coming days, a tremendous effort will be made to get us to feel a certain way about the Notre Dame cathedral fire.
But what would be so wrong with allowing us to think for ourselves and allowing us to come to our own conclusions?
The Internet was one of the last bastions for global free speech, but now the heavy hand of censorship is descending, and our ability to freely discuss global events is eroding a little bit more with each passing day."
Be that as it may...if it looks like a duck....smells like a duck...walks like a duck....
Perish the thought that the public has a right to form their own conclusions...in other words...are suspicions
well founded...or are they absolutely and totally baseless.....
Figure it out for yourself....
"On Monday, even anchors at Fox News had apparently been instructed that any speculation about who started the Notre Dame cathedral fire must be immediately shut down. These days there is very little difference between Fox News and the other major news networks, and that is very unfortunate."

What is right is not always popular. What is popular is not always right. People "forming their own conclusion" invariably produces this:

I haven't seen anyone rejoice Cods. In fact after Christchurch I have only seen outpourings of grief, sadness and offers of help.
Can you show me where Christians have tied up the internet cheering in glee? Or perhaps dancing in the streets like we saw after 9/11?

Re: Notre Dame
And I have seen the usual conspiranuts trying to pin the blame for the Riechstag fire on the Jews - OOPS - the Muslims. I suppose I should get the mob of hate de jeur right, hadn't I, even if the language used to demonise and persecute them is the same, hey, Black Orchid?Black Orchid wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2019 4:05 pmI haven't seen anyone rejoice Cods. You may have seen that in your imagination, Black Orchid but there is little evidence of it happening anywhere in Australia...Can you show me where Christians have tied up the internet cheering in glee? Or perhaps dancing in the streets like we saw after 9/11?

Have a look at OzPolitics - there are currently three threads on there and all have idiots blaming Muslims and here we have another thread, blaming the Muslims.

Re: Notre Dame
Please let us be clear on this ....
Christians = Catholics
Christians = Protestants
Entirely different
Notre Dame was a wonderful place for Catholics.
Somebody risked their life to grab the
"thorn of crowns" .... after 2019+ years it was still as pristine as Christ wore it?
Some people even think they will go to Heaven, where God/Jesus is waiting with open arms and you will continue, as you did, BEFORE you died.

How many Angels can dance on the head of a pin, hey, Neferti?
Catholics and Protestants and Eastern Orthodox and Russian Orthodox and Nestorian and other sects are all Christian.
Just as Sh'ia and Sunni and Kharijites and Sufis and all the other sects/schools/denominations of Islam are guess what? Muslims.
Same with all the other religions. They have schisms when there are ideological and theological arguments and you end up with some fool nailing his ninety-five theses on the door of the local church/temple/synagogue/mosque.

Oh, I agree with that. I disagree with your characterisation that Catholics aren't Christians...Neferti~ wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2019 7:18 pmDEAD is DEAD! End Of.brian ross wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2019 6:27 pmHow many Angels can dance on the head of a pin, hey, Neferti?
