Interesting story...
My son bought a block of land in 2000 in Qld and went to the bank to get a loan.
Originally he wanted to borrow x dollars to cover the purchase of the land and the approximate
build cost.
The bank told him he would have to pay stamp duty on the total borrow for the house and the land.
True story.
He then did his research and obtained two loans, one for the land, and one for the build.
He paid stamp duty on the land only...as to be expected.....
As I said...true story.....
No wonder we needed a RC into banking....

The Victorian Budget was ready to be released months ago..

But they decided to wait until after the Federal Election..

Anyone like to guess why?

It would have shown the Australian electorate what Labor is all about ... Raising Taxes to piss it all away..

On top of this Vic State Labor engaged in political advertising against the Federal Liberal party using state tax payers money 💴

Which is illegal.. 😠
