President Donald Trump ordered to pay $US2 million over misusing charity funds

They may but it is just another nail in his coffin, Nom.Nom De Plume wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2019 7:06 pm"A New York state judge has ordered US President Donald Trump to pay $US2 million ($2.9 million) for misusing his namesake charitable foundation, resulting in funds being used to advance his 2016 presidential campaign."
Trump's legal team will keep this cycling through the legal system for years.
I am sure that their silence will be deafening.brian ross wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2019 7:43 pmThey may but it is just another nail in his coffin, Nom.Nom De Plume wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2019 7:06 pm"A New York state judge has ordered US President Donald Trump to pay $US2 million ($2.9 million) for misusing his namesake charitable foundation, resulting in funds being used to advance his 2016 presidential campaign."

I wonder what his supporters think of him now? Afterall, this was always what he accused Hillary doing with the Clinton Foundation - all without proof of course.![]()
Wow, a Democrat judge from New York ruled against Trump ... imagine that!
OMG, T4E is saying, that under Trump's administration Justice has been waylaid! Surely that is reason enough to want him removed from office?brian ross wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2019 11:19 am
Gee, I knew politicisation was bad but I never realise it had corrupted the judicial system so badly in the US.
The case most likely isn't over yet. I suspect that Trump and his attorneys will appeal, so there's no reason to "admit" wrongdoing when the ruling could be reversed as others have been.brian ross wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2019 11:19 amSo, complete denial of any wrong doing, hey, 4E? I suppose this all "fake news"? Tsk, tsk, all written off 'cause the judge is a Democrat, right?
Well, it is. Obama-appointed activist judges routinely rule against Trump executive orders, etc., only to be reversed by an Appeals Court or by the Supreme Court.brian ross wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2019 11:19 amGee, I knew politicisation was bad but I never realise it had corrupted the judicial system so badly in the US.
There have been many court judgments that were detrimental to Trump, but quite a few of them have been reversed. That's why I, unlike you, don't get all worked up about one judge making one decision against Trump.brian ross wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2019 11:19 amIn reality, what we have is a judge passing a judgement detrimental to el Presidente' Trump and despite your attempts to write it off as being of no consequence, it is just another nail in his coffin.![]()
Nope, because Trump doesn't control the judicial branch of government. He's in charge of the executive branch.Nom De Plume wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2019 1:17 pmWow, a Democrat judge from New York ruled against Trump ... imagine that!OMG, T4E is saying, that under Trump's administration Justice has been waylaid!
