Probably too late now to discuss this as the "horse has already bolted"
The Australian Constitution provides that the Government can make laws...
"For the peace, order and good government of the colony...."
(Section 51)
Why hasnt the Federal Government passed legislation which disallows the States the power
to close borders to their states....
It seems to me that if SloMo had a little foresight and some balls he would have seen what the
States would do and enacted the appropriate legislation....
What a mess this lack of foresight has created....
Of course, Federal legislation overrules State legislation....
He created the National Cabinet, which is just a paper tiger....
Maybe he could have shown some leadership and legislated to keep the borders open.....

I'd also like to know why ScoMo hasn't acted against Comrade Dan for signing up Victoria to China's belt and road project. If there was no legislation to cover that (and there should have been because it's a matter of national security) there certainly should be by now.

They introduced legislation which requires all states to substantiate why any deals with overseas countries
should proceed.
Victoria and all the other states have six months to do this...
I think the six months is up about the middle of the year.
Then Marise Payne will decide which gigs go ahead....
Im betting that Dans gig will go ahead to appease the CCP.....
Not sure of what price Ill offer......

A recent poll showed that I think it was 87% of Australians have an unfavourable opinion of China. The other 13% were probably Chinese. It would be a huge mistake to ok the belt and road project.
