I have a laptop, but need to get it out and charge it up. Trouble is, whenever I drag it out, my child sees it as an opportunity to use her multiple accounts on her preferred online game, ( which I play with her too), but it kind of defeats the purpose of me having my OWN DEVICE.
Lol
Well dinner's done, she'll demolish it then go to dance.
Have started new meds for RA to accompany my Methotrexate injections, and am really looking forward to the results. If I get the outcome I'm honestly praying for, then I'd really like to start writing again.
Using my phone and typing with just my thumb is comfortable for now, but of course I'm looking forward to typing again, and with a 70% success rate, then I hope to be doing just that.
Has been unbelievably tough, some flares are so bad that brushing my hair, teeth or even getting out of bed some days feels like climbing a mountain with shards of glass in my joints.
RA isn't an elderly person's arthritis, it's a children's and up to middle age ( when symptoms usually first start) autoimmune disease.
My autoimmune system is attacking itself as though I am a germ or a virus lol
Literally, am my own worst enemy.
Speaking of mountains, it was only just before covid lockdowns we were at Halls Gap hiking in places that might scare some of you if I posted the photos.
They scared my mum, and a few other non-hiking members of our family and friends. Sooks
Amazing though, and doing more things like this is exactly what we both need.
I haven't enjoyed the seditary lifestyle, and miss our physically demanding little trips to the snow too.
Miss everything.
Rheumatology clinic thinks that we've caught it just in time before too much damage was done.
So...
Cheers to good food and positive vibes.
And to this which will hopefully change our lives within the next few months.
I've been taking Methotrexate for a couple of years now, but the new one is the silver bullet my pharmacist has advised.
So needless to say, I'm very excited.

If this isn't the silver bullet, there's still many more biologics to try so am not going to give up.
But I do miss my writing.
Hard work typing loooooong essays/ short pieces with just a swollen thumb.
