Happy my cat is healthy, albeit clinging to me like velcro, but what is it with house sitters that they treat other people's houses like their own.

Hey, I didn't mean for them to take it literally when I told them to make themselves at home. Lol


Anyway....


We're back in Ballarat, cats healthy, all is well.

Bonus points for leaving toilet seat up with skid marks in the bowl I guess. Lest we forget my pet peeve....... toast crumbs on my wooden chopping board.

They should consider themselves lucky they made it out alive.

Anyone else have any interesting or undesirable experience with house sitters?

I am not really complaining, my main concern was our cat not fretting for us the way he did last time when he refused to eat at a cattery, but I think we could have done without the skidmarks in the bowl.

Am I being a bit too anal?

Ex husband and eldest daughter are just a bit different to me, my way of doing things, that's all.

My gorgeous little man is healthy, shiny and "alive" so I shouldn't complain, and I certainly wouldn't. Lol

They followed me to Ballarat 4 years ago. It's great, I have family around me and this is what counts.

Ex husband is notorious for leaving crumbs on the bench. It's why I left him in the first place.

Actually, we were finished before we began, neither of us were ready to be a proper family, but we are good mates now.

It's hilarious, he's still overprotective of me though, he doesn't even like me having a male housekeeper.

The male housekeeper is fine, always talks about his wife, their travels etc, it's odd.

First husbands I mean.

He has green eyes, so I call him a green eyed monster lol

Actually, I'm being a tad harsh, would you believe my ex husband drove in 37 degrees today to big W, just to buy miss 12 a pair of light-up cat Bluetooth headphones because her regular gaming headphones broke last night?

I had nothing to do with it, he did it off his own bat just so she'd be happy.

I told him he was an absolute idiot for driving around in this heat, but of course I thanked him.
