Scones.

Lamb roast tomorrow night, family coming over. Bread and butter pudding for dessert.
Tonight we had pumkin risotto, salad + garlic bread.

Family coming tomorrow night now, so might have leftover risotto, my littlest had spaghetti bolognase ( was leftovers I froze) so...

I always make extras and freeze leftovers.

Unless it's something that doesn't freeze well.

🙂

I made big pot of cabbage and mushrooms soup/stew, it freeze well in portions and later can be paired with chicken or duck or fish or beef with specific herbs.

We love anything cabbage here. A very underated vegetable.
We'll be having it tonight as a side with our roast leg of lamb.

Cabbage is an essential ingredient in bubble & squeak which is a mandatory breakfast in our home the next morning.

Roasts coming along nicely, veges are in too, worm- farm got the scraps, now waiting for their arrival.

Love roasts, they cook themselves.

:c

The kids can stack the dishwasher and scrub the roasting tray.
I've done my part.
