I remember Nadin, he was half cast from Dabbo and while on the run hiding not far from here. He was caught because instead of living of the bush opted for hunters cabins and stealing from homesteads.
Actually hideouts around here are full of fugitives history from early colonial days like Frederick Ward (Captain Thunderbolt) and Jimmy Governor (Blacksmith) who was shot and captured about 20km from where I am now.
Just a bit of trivia lol ...

My greatgrandfather acquired Thunderbolt's (Fred Ward's) gun when he was mayor of Muswellbrook. I assume he probably had more than one but it was passed down to my dad and was then supposed to go to me.

Alas my sister knicked off with it (and everything else that wasn't securely bolted down) and I have no idea where it is now.

That is very valuable from historical POV but also psychologically dangerous as some artifacts can take over possessor mind.
Did your sister become a bush ranger? :f

Now Daily Mail can reveal Freeman was at the centre of a 30-strong anti-authority network
that secretly met at his rural property for years.

Members of the group drew up a list of names and ranks of officers they
branded 'police thugs' from the nearby Myrtleford station,
openly discussing how to 'name and shame' them.

His kids need a dad who works hard and brings in the money
they'll need to get a good start in life -
support them through university or a trade etc.
Even to provide good guidance and counselling.
His wife will be lonely and not have the support she'll need.
The whole situation is a disaster for his family
and everyone else's family -
the loved ones of the victims who were murdered.
Who will look after them?

Are we going to have Australian version of Waco with Philby as David Koresh?

What an interesting week that's transpired since Dezy Freeman was approached by at least 10 armed police at his home last week.
In light of the rally- revellers alleged associations the " alleged" suspect, and people being arrested and charged for simply holding posters with his photograph and the words " Free man" printed on them at pro- Australian democracy rallies across Australia, and police unwilling to disclose further details concerning their little warrant, the alleged reason they turned up at his home to begin with, and the details, including condition/ experience concerning some of the police in attendance at the scene when the accused allegedly open- fired on them..... it's almost impossible to get any closer to what actually happened without the accused receiving a fair trial and our government's own willingness to take steps to ensure media outlets feel safe enough to ask some of the more inconvenient questions, like why did police decide Desy Freeman was such a threat to neceitate 10 officers to deliver a search warrant & search his home, when they won't even search the homes of convicted paedophiles, known drug kitchens and continue releasing known convicted rapists and paedophiles into our Australian communities to begin with without so much as tracking devices?

Regardless of whether Desy Freeman is guilty of what's allegedly the reason for police being at his house to begin with, I find it difficult to believe this was Vic- Police' underlying reason for their intrusion to begin with, meaning his claims of being harassed in his local community by police prior to this tragedy unfolding, does have more than an air of truth to it.

The timeline concerning nation-wide protest demonstrations concerning Australians right to disagree with government policy, practice and procedures be it about road death tolls, Australians receiving inadequate care in hospital emergencies, or net- immigration, since when was it a criminal offence to have an opinion?

We are in serious trouble if we are going to follow the UK by silencing and charging citizens for exercising their democratic freedom to having their own point of view.

I agree, inciting hatred and targeting individuals based on their sexual orientation, race or religious beliefs is totally unacceptable, but where and how do we draw the line?

How can Australia give immigrants a "fair go" when it can't or isn't prepared to extend the same courtesy to it's citizens?

Rally- goers, regular Australians are being falsely portrayed as being Neo-Nazies, racists and biggots in our media , and of course numerous social media platforms too, Vic-Police have even shamed a whole town, have publicly accused citizens of "hiding Des under their beds ".

They're holding an entire town to ransom for the alleged actions of one man?
Are even going to such lengths as to state ralliers are part of Desy Freeman's extended "long armed" network of Sovereign Citizens?

It's interesting to note that the Left are keen to point out the socially irasponsible actions of some, except those who share their own views. This is pretty much the way bias goes across the board, left or right, however the Left tend to change our constitutional laws to suit their own political agenda and when we bring this to their half-witted attention they start arresting mums and dads on the streets holding posters, or even comedians at UK airports,

I think the left know their days are numbered, but they will continue arresting those who state the obvious anyway.

I certainly don't approve of police killers, or any kind of murderers for that matter, but I believe in the right to a fair & transparent legal process and I don't believe it's right to align ralliers with alleged murderer's nor lockdown entire towns and impact their livelihoods in persuit of just one individual who may no longer even be in the country.

If what police are saying about Desy Freeman having such an elaborate and limitless network, "long reach" he could be absolutly anywhere by now, so why are they punishing an entire town for the deeds of one man?

Because they're sending broader Australians a message.

"We are all powerful, and will punish, humiliate and smear Australians as we see fit, and if any of you put a toe out of line, or question our governments failures, actions in anyway you too will be hunted, imprisoned, punished for simply not agreeing to tow the party line."

This sounds more like China than the Australia I grew up in, it's time to call an election before this crazy ALP government locks down the entire country.

Criminals given bail while protesters given jail.

Time all Australians united against this insanity, except for our alleged Neo-Nazies who I believe are planted by the radical left to justify their pseudo-cause to change our laws to begin with.
