Is Albo following Stalin - the Gulag archipelago ?
The Soviet union had prisons for people whose opinions
the Govt. didn't like - the Gulag archipelago.
Looks like Albo is copying the Soviets ?
That is very dangerous to all of us.

Hate Speech on Trial? 15 years in prison for speech —
Australia's High Court just heard the challenge to the draconian hate speech law
On Tuesday and Wednesday the High Court of Australia heard White Australia Party Inc & Anor v Commonwealth,
case M50/2026.
Seven judges are deciding whether one politician can outlaw a political party

One minister banned a political party in May with no hearing, no conviction and no court review. The Act says so in its own headings. Judgment is reserved. Germany makes a court decide who gets banned. Australia lets a politician sign a paper.
Right now in Canberra, seven judges are deciding whether one politician can outlaw a political party by signing a piece of paper.
That’s the whole case and it’s really important to free speech. Sadly it’s not being widely publicized like it should be.

The threat is very real because we're talking about
15 years in prison based on speech that someone doesn't like,
and the law apparently would apply to Australians no matter where they were in the world. That's pretty draconian, so let's get into it.
On Tuesday and Wednesday the High Court of Australia heard White Australia Party Inc & Anor v Commonwealth, case M50/2026. Chief Justice Gageler sat with the Full Court. Judgment is reserved, which means they went away to think and nobody knows when they come back. Weeks. Maybe months.
One important clarification — there is no testimony in this case and there never was. It's a "special case," which means both sides agreed the facts in writing and the Court only hears legal argument from barristers. No witnesses, no evidence, nobody on a stand.
Let’s put the ugly part first so nobody has to wonder where IoJ stands. The group that brought this case is a neo-Nazi outfit run by a man with criminal convictions, and I’ve got no use for them. Evelyn Beatrice Hall wrote the line everybody hands to Voltaire — “I disapprove of what you say, but IoJ will defend to the death your right to say it.” She was describing a principle, and a principle doesn’t get to pick who walks through the door with it. Bad laws almost always show up strapped to somebody nobody wants to defend. That’s how they get through.
So let’s look at the law instead of the plaintiff.

Re: Is Albo following Stalin - the Gulag archipelago ?
I have been warning people about cultural Marxism and communism for years
and it has mostly fallen on deaf ears.
It seems that my prophesy has come true -
it's here now - it's written down in black and white.
What will the High court decide?

It is also similar to Hitler's policies - he was a national Socialist.
The first prison he made for people whose opinions he didn't like was Dachau.
Key Facts About Dachau
Location:
Built in a town outside Munich, Germany.
First Prisoners: Held communists, socialists, trade unionists, and other political opponents of Adolf Hitler.
Model System:
Served as the blueprint and training ground for guards and commandants used in later Nazi camps.
Expansion:
Later imprisoned Jews, Romani people, Jehovah's Witnesses, homosexuals, and other groups targeted by the regime.
Liberation:
American forces liberated the camp on April 29, 1945, after more than 200,000 people had passed through its gates.

Re: Is Albo following Stalin - the Gulag archipelago ?
I foresee a chain of prison camps like islands - the Gulag archipelago -
spread across Australia with 100s of 1000s of political prisoners
just like the Soviet and Nazi death camps.
Albo really is a wolf in sheep's clothing -
how could anyone in parliament ever consider such laws and pass them
knowing anything about world history ? -
it's an abomination.

I am not surprised considering that modern Australia has started as British GULAG and there is popular demand for return to 18 century British justice.

Albo is probably well meaning enough but he's being led by the commies in his party and I don't think he really has a clue and is quite naive.
He's the very last of the moderates in the Labor party. Labor will only get worse like the Liberals in the US who are bat guano crazy!

Albo is not well meaning -
he wants to silence all political opposition using the criminal justice system incorrectly -
just like Stalin and Hitler.
He's a despot and he is getting away with it so far.
Even the GG has signed such ridiculous laws.
