Heres the low-down.
It began moderating over there, then created a forum 'similar sounding' to the one it was moderating on Yahoo.
Ie.. Mycoffeelounge.net (it's own site) -vrs- Yahoos "coffee-lounge forum".
What came first...the chicken or the egg? I'd say the Chicken! (MCL)
When people became increasingly agitated due to poor moderation over on Yahoos coffee-lounge, it began inviting posters to it's own "MCL".. redirecting prolific posters to it's own site it seemed.
By the time the longer-standing Yahoo team figured it out, this and realised others were being siphoned off to MCL, it was too late, the place had gone to hell.
Only the dregs stayed on deck, one of such dregs were Lisa, who stayed on to redirect traffic to MCL.
